Skoll Voice SMS program
Skoll Voice is an AI phone receptionist for service businesses. When a caller books an appointment or requests service, we send text messages on the business’s behalf: appointment confirmations, service updates, photo-upload links for quotes, and booking reminders. This is Account Notifications / Customer Care messaging only — not marketing. Consent to receive texts is not required to buy anything or to book an appointment. How callers opt in (verbal, on the phone)
Agent: “I can text you a confirmation and updates about this appointment or service request. A few messages per job. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out, HELP for help. Privacy policy and terms are at https://www.skollvoice.com/sms. Do you want those texts, yes or no?”
Caller: “Yes.”
Agent: “Got it. You’ll get a confirmation text shortly.”
For every opt-in we keep the call recording, the timestamp, the phone number, and the caller’s yes/no answer.
The first text a caller receives
“Skoll Voice: you’re opted in for appointment/service updates. Reply STOP to opt out.”
Sample messages (transactional only)
- “Skoll Voice: you’re booked for Friday, March 6 at 2:30 PM. Reply STOP to opt out.”
- “Skoll Voice: here’s the photo link for your quote: [link]. Two or three shots of the damage, any angle.”
- “Skoll Voice: reminder — your appointment is tomorrow at 9:00 AM. Reply STOP to opt out.”
- “Skoll Voice: your service request was received. We’ll text you when it’s scheduled.”
STOP, HELP, START
- STOP — opts you out immediately. We reply once to confirm: “You’re opted out and won’t receive more texts. Reply START to opt back in.” No further messages are sent.
- HELP — we reply with the program name and support contact: “Skoll Voice appointment updates. Email support@skollvoice.com. Reply STOP to opt out.”
- START — opts you back in after a STOP. We reply with the opt-in confirmation text above.
